Who We Are
CC4C, is a non-profit cat rescue organization founded in 1986 by citizens concerned with the growing numbers of abandoned and colonized cats. Through organization and the coming together of many caring individuals, CC4C was organized, incorporated and in business with members living in, and servicing Contra Costa County.
CC4C is an all volunteer organization maintained on donations and fund-raising. Our members, fosters and volunteers work hard to make a positive difference in the lives of the cats we meet, and in helping our communities.
Cats are fostered in members or foster homes. Many cats but not all cats go to adoption events each week. If you are trying to find a particular type of cat and need help, please contact us by email at cc4c@communityconcernforcats.org.Volunteers, We Need Your Help!!
We are looking for energetic individuals that want to make a difference.
We need tons of volunteers for a variety of jobs but first and foremost we need a Volunteer Coordinator.
The Volunteer Coordinator would be a voluntary (no pay) position and would assist the Board with:
* Communications to the existing member base
* Coordinating volunteer appreciation functions and get-togethers
* Volunteer Recruitment and training
* Our Volunteer Coordinator should like people, have good organizational skills and be computer literate.
Most of the volunteers with CC4C hold full-time jobs. If you can
commit some of your free time to help us end the suffering of cats in our County, please consider helping us.
Feel free to explore the Community Concern for Cats website (www.community concernforcats.org) to learn more about our exciting programs. Please e-mail us at mail@communityconcernforcats.org for more information.
